I was trained in physics and did computational neuroscience research before joining the Computation and Decision-Making Lab, where I study the cognitive science problems in epistemology, such as the rational basis of intellectual virtues and vices. I'm also exploring the possibility of social transformations with a better appreciation of agency.

Research interests

  • Social epistemology
Bayesian modeling of trust and vulnerability, humility and curiosity, (illusion of) understanding in social learning
  • Computational cognition
How to establish a common language for neuroscientists, cognitive scientists and AI researchers to study intelligence.
  • Neural data science
Developing machine learning methods for data analysis based on our understanding of cognitive processes.
